On January 17, 2015, Sergei Novoselov suffered burns to his face and hands during a battle near Stanytsia Luhanska. He is currently in the Main Military Clinical Hospital in the purulent surgery department, ward #4.
All the latest treatments are being used to treat the burns. Since January 26, burn specialist Dr. S.V. Gorelov* has been using OpikUn™ gel wipes to treat the patient's hand burns. Positive results have been achieved to date. The wounds are healing well, and, as Sergei Novoselov himself noted, the wipes do not stick to the wound, making the treatment much easier to tolerate.
