Zentex, a domestic manufacturer of OpikUn antimicrobial gel dressings, is actively involved in volunteer work to provide assistance to those wounded in the ATO zone. At the Kyiv Military Medical Hospital, surgeons fight for the lives of every patient every day, performing highly complex limb replantation surgeries. Zentex employees met Professor Alexander Vladimirovich Borzykh when they visited wounded soldiers and brought them gel wipes as charitable aid, using funds raised by volunteers from the USA, Canada, and Ukraine.
A. V. Borzykh is an outstanding microsurgeon, Vice President of the Association of Hand Surgeons of Ukraine, a member of SICOT, an Honored Doctor of Ukraine, and a State Prize laureate. Thanks to his skill, knowledge, and abilities, Alexander Vladimirovich performs unique surgeries on soldiers from the ATO zone and gives them hope for a full life.
For one of his patients who underwent limb amputation, Alexander Vladimirovich prescribed OpikUn antimicrobial gel dressings. The doctor noted that these dressings should be used when the wound is in the granulation stage. Using his patient as an example, the doctor noted that after applying these dressings, the wound regeneration process is much faster and more successful. Alexander Vladimirovich also noted the ease of use of the dressings, but suggested considering creating dressings that can remain on the skin for at least 24 hours, as the large number of wounded prevents doctors from changing dressings every 8 hours.
Zentex is constantly evolving and working on developing new products that give people health and hope for a full recovery.
